APICAT’s Youth Advisory Group Meeting

Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islanders (AANH&PI) youth, ages 13-17 come together to work on issues that are a part of their community. Activities include:

• Education on tobacco, e-cigarette/vapors, and marijuana and other health prevention topics.
• Provide leadership training that includes team building activities, public speaking, learning how to share information effectively, and planning youth events.
• Being involved with community assessments, learning how to develop digital stories to share their stories.
• Meeting and spending time with AANH&PI youth as well as other diverse groups involved with tobacco, e-cigarette/vapor, and marijuana prevention activities.
